Mike Cash - Chief of Police & Fire, Guadalupe

Chief Mike Cash has a unique take on his job. As after-school basketball coach to the city’s fourth and fifth graders, he finds himself addressed almost as often as “Coach” as he does as “Chief”. He sees wearing all these hats as a way to help “raise the neighborhood”. It’s a point of view you don’t often hear from a Police Chief, or a Fire Chief, or even a basketball coach.
