One805, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting first responders across Santa Barbara County, successfully completed its first One805LIVE! fundraiser event at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, CA, on April 16th, 2023. The event drew an impressive crowd of over 550 people with an event total of over $90,000 raised. The funds raised will be used to provide financial assistance and resources for the acquisition of essential equipment and mental wellness counseling services directly benefiting Police, Fire, and Sheriff of Santa Barbara County.
One805’s partnership with Adam’s Angels ensured that volunteers were instrumental in ensuring the event ran smoothly. The event also featured electrifying live music performances by Andy Vargas, lead singer of Santana, Ed Roth and the Session Kings, Linda Taylor, and more, creating an atmosphere that added to the success of the event. Guests also enjoyed delicious food from the Lucca Pizza truck, Sunstone wine as well as refreshing beverages from local companies Solvang Brewery and Sunny Fields.
The Santa Ynez band of Chumash Indians were the events presenting sponsor, with other local sponsors, including the American Riviera Bank and Waiakea water. One805 has been dedicated to supporting the well-being of Santa Barbara County’s first responders since its establishment in 2018 and has contributed over $1.6 million to that cause. The success of the first One805LIVE! event is a testament to the community’s support for its First Responders and the continued impact of One805’s mission.
