The One805 Endowment Fund has been established to ensure long-term, sustainable support for the mental health, wellness, and safety of our First Responders. While annual fundraising allows us to respond to immediate needs, the Endowment provides permanent financial security so that critical programmes can continue for generations to come.
Funds held within the Endowment are invested and managed professionally, with the goal of preserving capital while generating annual income to support approved initiatives. This structure allows One805 to plan responsibly for the future and to offer consistent assistance to the Fire, Sheriff, Police, and Emergency agencies who serve our community every day.
How the Endowment Fund works
The Endowment is governed under strict financial oversight, with transparent reporting and independent review, ensuring that all contributions are protected and used solely for their intended purpose. Donations to the Endowment are not spent directly, but instead are held in perpetuity, with only the earned income distributed to support programmes such as mental-wellness services, peer support, training, and essential equipment.
